    Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Nurse Director of Perioperative Services Days FT for a great opportunity in the Southeasthern Michigan area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years current experience working in acute care hospital in the Perioperative Services department and 3+ years of experience working in an Perioperative Services department in a RN leadership role.

    Responsibilities of the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services Days FT

    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services assures service, growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation and management controls in order to ensure consistent high-quality patient care in the Perioperative Services Department
    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services accurately identifies real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow through and communication
    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services coaches immediate subordinates providing feedback; constructive critique of work; facilitates individual development plan, and documents their job performance
    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services enforces standards of emergency department care and develops processes to measure and ensure consistent compliance
    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for the fiscal management of department; assures proper utilization of organization's financial resources
    • The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services demonstrates a poised and confident demeanor that reassures others and commands respect within the organization and the community

    Requirements of the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services Days FT

    • 5 years of current experience working in a hospital
    • 2 years of current experience working in a management role in an Emergency Department
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred
    • Current and Valid RN license
