    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform accurate and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in clinics specializing in high-risk patients, particularly in OB/GYN. You will maintain high standards of patient care and contribute to ensuring patient satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Utilize fetal and gynecological ultrasound principles to identify and evaluate abnormalities.
    • Conduct complex scans for multiple gestations and identify related anomalies.
    • Maintain operational proficiency with various ultrasound machines and update knowledge of current technology.
    • Document patient histories and maintain ultrasound records meticulously.
    • Prepare patients for various procedures, ensuring comfort and clarity.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and hospital staff to maintain strong professional relationships.
    • Exercise judgment in interpreting Biophysical Profiles and alerting physicians about critical conditions.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Ultrasound is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • At least one year of related experience is necessary.
    • ARDMS certification is required; RDMS - OB/GYN is preferred.
    • BLS certification is required.
    • Must have diagnostic ultrasound certification in line with state regulations.
