Job Title: Patient Sitter

Under general supervision by a licensed professional, the Patient Sitter plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of assigned patients within our hospital. Their key responsibility is to monitor patients and alert staff to any needs or concerns.

In addition to monitoring patients, they may also assist with basic care and feeding as required. This includes tasks such as assisting patients with meals and helping them stay hydrated and comfortable throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and previous related experience. They must also possess current CPR certification from the American Heart Association and complete de-escalation training within 90 days of hire/transfer date.

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Alice is a Level IV Trauma Center, licensed for 186 beds, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including pediatrics, obstetrics, skilled nursing, emergency and intensive care, as well as cardiac and comprehensive services. Salary Information:

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
