    Job Description

    Director of Finance - Pavilion/Corporate - Exempt - Parker is the areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike environment. Excellent benefits including 35 paid days off, annual bonus, pension plan, generous (optional) medical, dental and vision plans - Lead and develop the Finance Operations function which oversees and manages all finance, accounting and reporting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. Oversee all activities related to annual regulatory audits, tax compliance, and cash flow planning. Ensure that the required systems, policies and procedures are in place to support effective, efficient and compliant finance operations. Assist with the development and execution of strategic initiatives and long-term planning efforts.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
    • Five years' experience in a similar role combined with 3-5 years of audit experience for a Big-4 or other leading audit firm; preferred.
    • Working knowledge of long-term care facility operations and third-party reimbursement (e.g. Medicare / Medicaid).
    • Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allow for financial data interpretation versus simple reporting.
    • Ability and desire to work full-time on site.
    • Knowledge at expert level general office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite as well as strong understanding of Oracle fusion ERP system.
    • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing financial software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
    • Experience collaborating with finance team members and organization leaders to continually assess and identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside stakeholders.
    • Flu vaccine required, or receive an exemption prior to employment.
