Job Description Job Description TL Engineering & S&S Engineers are collaborating to seek a full-time Electrical Design Engineer in the construction design field.

This position is mostly remote but will require infrequent in-person office or job site meetings.

We are a small construction engineering design firm specializing in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing engineering design for the construction industry.

Our office is located in the heart of Marietta, GA near the Marietta Square.

As a small firm we offer employees the benefit of exposure to many different types of construction projects and the ability to move rapidly in knowledge and understanding of this industry.

Electrical design engineers will work under a licensed professional engineer and would continue their career on a pathway to becoming a licensed P.E.

if they so desire.


Responsibilities:

Electrical power and lighting design by following the directions of senior project engineers Project management assistance for engineering projects CAD and BIM drafting using Revit and AutoCAD Construction site visits General office administration 40-hr work weekEducation/Experience: Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering 5+ years in the engineering and construction industrySkills: Efficient use of time for managing multiple tasks Able to change focus from one project to another based on client demands Competent use of AutoCAD and Revit software SKM or other arc flash software is a plus Visual or other photometrics software is a plus Full competency of Microsoft Office Suite Detailed knowledge and understanding of buildings and their construction Self motivated to be productive despite being in a remote workspace.
