Job DescriptionOperate basic shop machinery (grinders, lathes, milling machines etc.) efficiently and safely. Proper use of hand tools. Properly use devices to measure parts and set up equipment (calipers, mics, shear, press brake, tape measure). Forklift and crane certification. Use drill press; counter bore etc. Work with leads, trainers etc.

Make complex punches on grinderAlign and set punchesRebuild nitrogen cylindersBasic spotting in try out pressCheck die guidance Set and check clearances on camsTroubleshoot production lines.

Fully spot a draw die in tryout pressRead and understand a 'spotted' panelRead and understand blueprints and complete engineering changes from a blueprintUnderstand and change material flow to prevent buckles and splitsWeld and repair trim steels and draw beads and work back to original dimensionsGood troubleshooting skills on tandems, progressive and transfer presses.

This position is for either 2nd or 3rd shift. QualificationsPhysical ability to bend, stoop, stand and repetitively lift, push, and pull 50 or more lbs. continuously throughout assigned work shift.
Moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting & grasping.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions / directions in English.
Must be willing to always wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.

Ability and desire to perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the scope and nature of our business.
