- Formulate treatment plan for clients. Monitor clients' condition to evaluate success of therapy, and adapt treatment as needed.
- Document clients' progress within required timeframes.
- Staff clients with treatment team and other providers as necessary.
- Counsel clients individually and in group sessions to assist clients in managing their addiction in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Counsel family members as needed to assist family members in dealing with addiction and providing support for client.
- Refer client and coordinates care with other support services as needed such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, housing and employment services.
- Assist the authorization department with documents needed to request treatment authorization.
- Attend clinical supervision, as required.
- 37.5-hour work week to support an improved work/life balance.

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Substance Use Clinician to work in its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Lenoir.

Education/Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in human service field. Master's degree or discipline in Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health preferred.
Certificates/Licenses:
Valid License or Associate License in one or more of the following disciplines: LCAS, LCMHC, LMFT. LCSW, CADC.
