Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee the daily operations of a senior care facility specializing in long-term care services. Duties
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, including managing staff, budgets, and resident services
- Oversee individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory impairments
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care facilities
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently
- Manage operational aspects including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimize facility performance
- Cultivate strong relationships with residents' families and community partners to promote transparency and trust in care delivery
- Recruit staff as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or senior care management
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and developing effective care plans
- Background in operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen within healthcare settings
- Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in long-term or home & community care environments
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and compliance standards for senior populations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive organizational culture
- Working knowledge of social work principles related to eldercare and individuals with developmental disabilities or complex health needs
