    Description
    *Combo Welder**Location: *Santa Fe Springs, CA

    *Shift: *Monday - Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with OT

    *Pay Range:* $20.00hr - $30.00hr (Depending On Experience)

    *RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Produce X-ray Quality Welds for both Stainless and Carbon Steel structure and pipe.
    • Must be able to weld Flux Core on Stainless Steel
    • Weld with MIG, TIG or Fluxcore at an EXPERT LEVEL for both Stainless and Carbon Steel structure and pipe.
    • Weld mild steel and stainless steel heavy and light structure, frames, skids, piping, tanks and sheet metal
    • Maintain high quality welds in a safe manner.
    • Maintain a productive, efficient, and safe workplace by implementing common sense practices, sound judgment, and proactive measures.
    • Understand and adhere to the defined scope of work.
    • Ability to Timely and effectively communicate and/or resolve problems in an organized and detailed manner.
    *Fabricator/ Welder** 5-10 years of fabrication on the following;

    • Open Top Tank, Platforms, Handrails, Skid Frame, Pressure vessels (Is a Plus), Pipe (Is a Plus), Structural (Is a Plus)
    • Knowledge and understanding of shop drawings and weld symbols.
    • Band saw cutting, Torch cutting with Oxy and acetylene, Plasma Cutting, Grinder
    • Forklift and Overhead crane (is a plus)
    • A Fitter/ Welder must have the following tools:
    • Measuring tape, Level, square, straight edge
    • Hand tools and Power tools
    • Welding helmet
    • Clamps
    *EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS** 5-10 years of "HANDS-ON" experience in the welding of carbon and stainless steel heavy and light structures, frames, skids, piping, tanks and sheet metal

    • TIG, MIG, Fluxcore and Pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Carbon steel
    • Fillet Welds: Flat position, Vertical position, Horizontal position, Overhead position (Is a Plus)
    • Full Penetration Welds: Flat position, Vertical position, Horizontal position, Overhead position (Is a Plus)
    • Knowledge of purging stainless steel pipe when welding
    • Material handling knowledge
    • Expert level knowledge of welding methods and quality control.
    • Working knowledge of all tools and equipment i.e. overhead cranes, saws, iron workers, shears, breaks, welding equipment.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with managers, field personnel, customers, and employees.
