    Overview

    We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, exceptional customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients. Your expertise in various styling methods, including hair extensions and color theory, will help our clients achieve their desired looks.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
    • Utilize techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and straight razor cutting to enhance client satisfaction.
    • Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
    • Use salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records efficiently.
    • Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and managing retail sales.
    • Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products to promote healthy hair maintenance.
    • Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on salon best practices.
    • Upsell products and services to enhance the overall client experience while meeting sales goals.

    Experience

    • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a valid cosmetology or barbering license.
    • Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of color theory and application techniques.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
    • Experience in retail sales and knowledge of retail math to assist in product recommendations.
    • Skills in makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions are a plus but not required.
