    As a Physical Therapist Team Leader at Senior Care Center – St. Marys, you will be an integral part of the patient experience. You will supervise and coordinates team members, and provides direct care to patients in assigned area. You will oversee a wide variety of clinical and managerial activities within assigned areas. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality.     You will be responsible for:

    • Serving as a clinical resource for other staff members and facilitates effective clinical problem solving with other members of the health care team.
    • Supervising and providing direct clinical care to patients, maintaining a direct patient care to administrative work load ratio of approximately 75/25.
    • Scheduling appropriate staffing, completing payroll, materials management, etc. Monitoring workflow and productivity of assigned therapists and support staff.
    • Utilizing effective communication and clinical skills to provide, direct and coordinate patient care needs with all members of health care team.
    • Improving patient satisfaction by heading department performance improvement teams or participating on Health System policies and procedures and regulatory agencies through the development and implementation of practice changes within assigned areas.
    • Participating in department material and inventory management within prescribed budget parameters.
    • Implementing knowledge gained from conferences, workshops, seminars, and professional literature into practice. Developing mechanisms that facilitate transmission of new knowledge. Assisting with clinical leadership development and education of rehabilitation department staff.
