    Control Panel Assembler / Technician
    1 year experience required

    Schertz Area

    $16-$24 per hour - depending on experience

    This Control Panel Technician position is responsible for the physical assembly of electrical control panels, junction boxes, wire harnesses from prints, wiring and testing of control panels for industrial equipment.

    Primary Duties:

    • Fabricate controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel
    • Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures
    • Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards
    • Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, interfaces, and instrumentation
    • Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions

    Required

    • Minimum 1 year of control panel assembly
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to establish credibility with leadership and team members
    • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to meet deadlines and goals under pressure
    • A high standard of quality and attention to detail
    • Accuracy with data entry
