Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) at a Leading Healthcare Facility

Job Description:
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) at our esteemed healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch care to newborn and NICU patients. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, performing various procedures, communicating effectively with families and team members, and much more.


Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret labs, x-rays, and diagnostic studies
• Perform various procedures like intubation and lumbar puncture
• Communicate effectively with parents and specialists
• Provide education and support to families
• Dispense medications under physician supervision

Schedule Details:
• 24-hour unrestricted shifts – 7 days on and 7 days off
• Call required – 14 days per month

Location:
AdventHealth Wesley Chapel and AdventHealth Zephyrhills

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing with Neonatal Certification (required)
• 1-2 years of NICU experience as an RN (highly preferred)
• 1-2 years of NICU experience as a Neonatal APRN (required)

Licensure and Certification:
• Must hold a valid Florida APRN License with Neonatal certification
• Certification through ANCC or another recognized body
• NRP certification
