    JOB SUMMARYLeitner-Poma of America, Inc.

    is seeking a highly motivated Machinist to produce complex machined parts by setting up & operating manual machines as well as potentially program computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.

    This is a full-time, hourly position currently hiring for night shifts & weekend shifts. See descriptions below for pay structures & responsibilities.

    Essential ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain precision machine tools, including a drill press, manual lathe, manual milling machine, and other equipment to ensure quality & accuracy of finished products.

    Read and interpret moderately complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to manufacture precision metal parts.
    Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
    Troubleshoot and resolve machine and tooling malfunctions.
    Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
    Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED equivalent.
    At least 1-2 years' machine shop experience.
    Must be at least 18 years of age. Authorized to work in the United States of America.
    Proficient in the English language.
    Desired QualificationsPrevious experience in CNC programming & set-up/associates degree in machine school technologies.
    MACHINIST II - $21.00-$26.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.
    Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms all level I responsibilities listed above.
    Set up, program, operate, and maintain precision machine tools, including CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and other equipment.
    Train and mentor junior machinists and apprentices as needed.
    Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
    Meet expected throughput of production goals while maintaining 4 or fewer reject tags per year.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED equivalent.
    At least 1-2 years' experience in CNC programming & set-up.
    Must be at least 18 years of age. Authorized to work in the United States of America.
    Proficient in the English language.
    Desired QualificationsAt least 3-4 years' experience in CNC Programming & setup/associates degree in machine school technologies.
    MACHINIST III - $24.00-$29.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.
    Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms all level I & II responsibilities listed above.
    Train, Mentor, coach, perform overchecks and answer questions for newer employees.

    Set goals for self and others to push towards an environment of doing projects correctly and the most cost effective way possible.

    Meet expected throughput of production goals while maintaining 4 or fewer reject tags per year.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED equivalent.
    At least 3-5 years' experience in CNC programming & set-up/associates degree in machine school technologies.
    Must be at least 18 years of age. Authorized to work in the United States of America.
    Proficient in the English language.
    Desired QualificationsAt least 5-10 years' experience in CNC programming & set-up/associates degree in machine school technologies with applied science.
