    Occ Summary

    Independently plan and provide professional nuedpolicies andprocedures.

    Provide nursing services to patients and fa milies inaccordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Car oliexperience.

    Work Performed

    Plan, provide, supervis e and document professional nursing careutilizing the nursing process fo r pnursingdepartment.

    Compensation is a flat rate that is based on years ofcare based on assessment of thepatient's baseline needs and response tof nursing care and actas team leader or charge nurse for a group of pa tients or an entire unitas assigned.

    Monitor and initiate corrective acti onedcompetencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriateassi stance or educational offerings.
    Act as preceptor and support the develop meources.

    Participate in own professional development by maintaining requ irto maintain the environment ofcare including equipment and material re srsing care for patients inaccordance with physician orders and establishnaBoard of Nursing.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education

    Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.

    All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.

    Experience

    2 years of appropriate clinical experience required

    Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

    Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
