- Risk, Finance and Actuarial Activities: Procures, validates, and evaluates loss data, prepares special reports, completes analysis and makes recommendations to management relating loss control, premium allocation, claims mitigation, etc. Evaluates loss data for root cause analysis and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. Assist in preparing quarterly Loss Triangles for Actuarial Analysis. Analyzes actuarial results and impact on Pulte/NABIC/CICNA. Prepares, develops and analyzes division risk allocations.
- Risk Financing: Assist in forecasting and budgeting. Work with Risk Finance Manager to develop insurance and loss expense allocations and cost benefit analysis. Analyze and assist in ensuring Risk Department is in compliance with internal controls. Verifies expenditures as they relate to department accounting and budgeting.
- Reinsurance Carrier Interaction: Prepares and distributes quarterly Reinsurance Billing and Carrier Loss Runs. Monitor loss data report on policy limit erosion. Interacts with Pulte's s insurance brokers regarding data presented resolution of billing issues and aggregate erosion. Prepares and analyzes data for underwriting renewal submissions and interacts with insurance brokers as necessary.
- Captive Management: Assists in preparing financial statements, cash flow projections, and reserve analysis. Assist with monthly financial closing process, and general ledger reconciliations. Works with outside captive management and others to maintain captive insurance subsidiaries and risk retention group.

- Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Business or equivalent
- Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in Property/Casualty insurance industry or finance related positions
- Time in position: Minimum of 1 to 3 years at an analyst level
- Knowledge of principles of risk management, actuarial science, insurance industry practices, and accounting
- Knowledge of insurance policy language and contracts
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with various levels in the organization and with outside vendors
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

JOB SUMMARY:Primarily responsible for collecting, analyzing, presenting and formulating recommendations regarding the Company's exposure and claims data to Insurance Carriers, Actuaries and Company Management. Responsible for identifying loss trends, cost drivers and areas that would benefit from risk control/safety initiatives.
