    Overview

    We are actively seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist II, Flow Cytometry to join our growing team. Our focus is to empower healthcare providers with tools for accurate diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of complex autoimmune and autoimmune-related conditions.

    About the Opportunity:

    The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II is responsible for high complexity testing and analysis of patient's whole blood using the Flow Cytometry method.

    The shift for this position will be Monday – Friday, 11am – 7:30pm, with flexibility based on business needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform all aspects of daily flow cytometry activities, from pre-analytical to reporting.
    • Set up and operate cytometers to isolate and test samples according to established SOPs.
    • Process, analyze, and interpret data using Flow Cytometer Analysis software.
    • Maintain high standards of quality and laboratory safety.
    • Provide technical support and collaborate with other departments.
    • Conduct quality control procedures for tests, check standard curves, controls, and reagents, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
    • Follow troubleshooting procedures to correct deficiencies or problems with instruments and equipment.
    • Address analytical and system performance appropriately.
    • Operate lab equipment such as TECAN-EVO 100, HELMER Ultra-Cell Washer, BIO-TEK ELX50 automated strip washer, and Eppendorf centrifuge.
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required for reagent preparation.
    • Collaborate with equipment vendors to initiate maintenance or repairs of instruments.
    • Communicate effectively with internal personnel.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work Monday to Friday with flexibility and willingness for overtime.
    • Proficiency in using general office equipment, including computers, telephone, copiers, etc.
    • CA CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Generalist license required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology required. Master's degree preferred.
    • 2 – 4 years of experience in high complexity testing in a CLIA/CAP environment.
    • Experience in Clinical Laboratory settings.
    • Preferred experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunophenotyping, or Hematology.
