    Description

    Coda Search is collaborating with a fast-growing private equity (PE) group to recruit their inaugural Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This dynamic PE firm oversees two funds and is set to introduce its upcoming fund later this year. The new CFO will play a pivotal role in steering the firm's expansion and influencing its strategic course.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the compilation of the monthly financial reporting package, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
    • Collaborate closely with the 3rd party administrator to scrutinize financials and detect any inconsistencies, guaranteeing precise and compliant financial records.
    • Manage the budgeting and forecasting procedures to deliver precise financial forecasts and cash flow assessments.
    • Create and sustain financial models to bolster business planning and decision-making.
    • Inspect and prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) packages for the funds, ensuring prompt and precise reporting.
    • Perform quarterly assessments of the firm's portfolio investments, ensuring accurate and compliant valuations in line with industry norms.
    • Engage closely with the firm's partners to steer the company's strategic trajectory, offering financial insights and suggestions.
    • Participate in strategic planning discussions and contribute to the long-term business strategy.
    • Sustain with recruitment and staffing initiatives, ensuring adequate resourcing of the finance team for the firm's ongoing growth.
    • Guide and nurture junior finance staff, fostering a cooperative and high-achieving environment.
    • Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing all requisite supportive materials.
    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and reporting mandates.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. A CPA designation is greatly preferred.
    • Extensive expertise in overseeing a portfolio of private equity funds.
    • Demonstrated history of collaborating with 3rd party administrators and evaluating financials.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation talents, articulating complex financial concepts clearly.
    • Robust analytical and issue-resolution skills, with a keen focus on detail.
    • Readily engaging and working closely with the leadership team.
