    The Director of Global Strategic Pricing will lead Iron Mountains Digital Business Units global pricing organization and guide overall pricing strategy and execution.

    This role will develop and lead effective pricing strategies across the entire products/services/solution portfolio, working cross functionally with the organization to drive efficient and decisive progress toward enhancing pricing maturity and driving ARR.The Director of Global Strategic Pricing and his/her team will act as the Center of Excellence in developing best practices, guidelines, and governance for managing the companys pricing strategies.

    This CoE will influence and partner with Iron Mountains business stakeholders and geographies to empower growth and enhance margins.

    The ideal candidate will elevate the companys expertise in pricing and develop and implement a strategic analytical backbone into the pricing process as well as attend to cultural and process transformation.


    Responsibilities:


    Assess the current state of pricing and develop targeted proposals for immediate high value impact as well as a multi-year investment strategy to optimize price effectiveness and maturity.

    Establish governance for cross functional engagement, decision making, influence, and execution by effectively working with Iron Mountains executive team.

    Identify pricing opportunities and implement pricing as a strategic lever with keen understanding of marketplace, transactional, and solution value-based sources of pricing power.

    Develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies / models based on understanding of next best alternatives, competitive dynamics, and expected market response.

    Collaborate with Product/Solution teams to define new offers, potential configurations, and dependencies with respect to market prices.
    Serve as a source of best practices and knowledge sharing about various regional activities and differentiated strategies.

    Develop comprehensive methodologies using analytical tools and drive robust pricing reporting to provide guidance to senior leadership to enable better decision making (both pre- and post-price changes).

    Experience & ExpertiseBachelors degree in business or technical field10+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience leading a pricing function with demonstrated success in:

    Strategic planning, teambuilding, and leadershipImplementation of new processes/systemsDeep experience implementing analytics and driving pricing leadership in a B2B organization of relevant scale and complexity (including global operations).Experience with B2B software development and positioning, SaaS, and usage-based pricing models.

    Ability to develop high-impact pricing strategies.
    A change agent. Ability to influence senior leadership in the development of pricing strategies including global and regional sales & marketing teams.
    Outstanding cross-functional leadership skillsStrong negotiating skills based on a thorough understanding of sales/marketing practices.
    Strong leadership capabilities.

    Ability to lead the pricing group, as well as drive for change across functions and teams that help the company culture accelerate pricing acumen and execution.

    Exposure to corporate transformation or the creation of centers of excellence is highly desired.
