    Description
    TIAG is hiring a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team supporting our government customers in Quantico, VA
    An active Top Secret clearance is required to start work
    This position reports onsite at our client location 1-2 days/week at a minimum and remaining workdays will be remote and/or at our local office facility

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPSec, site to site VPNs, DNS, IP Management, IPS's, Firewalls, Routers and Switches
    • Complete tasking as assigned by the departmental ticketing system for tracking of actions/issues/problems/resolutions.
    • Ensure all devices are utilizing TACACS/RADIUS and offloading logs to SIEM
    • Track and monitor licensing requirements for Network Devices
    • Track and monitor EOL/EOS of all network devices and recommend when replacements are required
    • Ensure quarterly STIG review occurs of all network devices
    • Perform ACAS and evaluate scan results
    • Submit change requests and schedule maintenance windows to patch based on patch releases from vendors
    • Develop and update SOPs and other documentation supporting workflow for reoccurring operations/sustainment/integration
    • Create and/or update network diagrams as necessary
    • Maintain Ports/Protocols/Services table as necessary
    • Maintain Patch Matrix to include labeling of cabling
    • Maintain IP/VLAN Schema (issuance and maintenance)
    • Support circuit registration and provide data required to register in SNAP
    • Conduct periodic network device backup
    • Experience with DISA and commercial vendors implementing circuits and Internet connections
    • Support Incident Response initiatives by providing SME role for Networking Gear
    • Ensure devices are compliant using 2-factor authentication
    • Comply with FCC/NCDOC Orders and reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with onsite team to distribute workload and support mission requirements
    Proactively ensure environment and mission requirements are being met and/or exceeded Required Qualifications:


    • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
    • 5+ years of experience with Cisco switches and routers
    • An Information Assurance certification in compliance with DoD 8570 (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP) (IAT Level II)
    • CCNA certification
    • A meticulous eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications
    • CCNP certification highly desired
    • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering or similar
    • Experience with Juniper, Cisco Firepower, and VMWare NSX highly desired
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and analytical skills
    • Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings
    • Experience deploying and configuring Universal Forwarders and possess demonstrable knowledge of data collection methods such as Syslog, JDBC, or API
    • Experience with Linux and SQL/ODBC interfaces
    • Familiarity with DoD RMF process
