- Greet and register patients according to established protocols
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance information
- Answer multi-line phone calls and return calls
- Collect payments
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Share information gathered from patient with appropriate team members in a more comprehensive care of the patient
- Prepare examination room
- Explain care to patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Coordinate patient care through the clinic-waiting room, exam room
- Measure vital signs (Blood pressure, heart rate, weight etc.)
- Maintain and manage patient records
- Assist in medical procedures
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned -Maintain office supplies and ensure office is well maintained, neat, and cleaned
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A personal commitment to a person-centered approach, along with strong relationship-building, communication, and active listening skills required
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook Scheduling and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
- Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
- High school diploma is required
