    Position Title

    Part-Time Faculty, English

    Job Summary

    The Marist College English Department is looking for qualified part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in English for the 2024-2025 academic year.

    Essential Functions

    • For applicants with writing pedagogy experience, we are looking primarily for instructors to teach Writing for College, our required research and argumentative writing course.
    • For applicants with literature experience, we are looking for instructors to teach a variety of literature courses in our Core/Liberal Studies general education requirement sequence.
    • For applicants with theatre experience, we may have availability for our Introduction to Theatre course, which also serves as a Core Public Presentation course.
