Job Description
Job DescriptionAs a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work closely with our accounting team and other departments to ensure the financial health of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
General Ledger experience
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or associate degree in a related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Understanding of general accounting principles GAAP and regulations
-Experience with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with budgeting and forecasting preferred
