From our Duluth (GA) office our team services the North American markets (USA and Canada), what includes engineering/ technical and logistical service to our partners, distributors and MEP customers, all associated with the Sikla range of products.

Job Description

This role is open to US based candidates with an understanding of the US construction industry and with a background in BIM coordination/ design work (preferred).

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for all upcoming duties to run Sikla projects successfully.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering (HoE) and Deputy Managing Director (DMD), you will work on all kind of industrial opportunities.

Your job will be backed up by our engineers, warehouse and logistics and by the internal customer service team. The BIM Coordinator will be trained (step-by-step) by our local engineers.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Proficient in Revit, AutoDesk AutoCAD, BIM 360 and Microsoft Suite.

2- 5+ years of Revit and AutoCAD expirience.

Project coordination.

Basic understanding of how buildings are constructed.

Ability to read, understand and interpret job documents, specifications, drawings and scopes of work.

The Structural BIM Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of project processes in terms of organization, coordination, communication and design work.

Develop long-term relationships with clients, contractors and EPC ́s.

Complete projects by organizing and controlling project elements.

Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems and conferring with management.

Stays in direct contact with EPC ́s, Contractor companies and owners/ investors and is responsible for presentation events for Sikla products as well as for technical/ software training when needed through the entire duration of a project.

Reports about all important developments through the Sikla CRM module SalesForce.

Responsible to coordinate and discuss required Sikla Services with management.

The Structural BIM Coordinator is self-motivated, pro- active and commercially driven.

Detail oriented, organized and able to manage priorities with awareness of deadlines and expectations.

Train (new) employees on BIM standards and drafting processes.

Your Profile

2- 5+ years of Revit and AutoCAD experience.

Degreed Engineer preferred but not required.

Must have extensive experience using BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD).

Must be able to train and mentor employees on use of Revit.

Good imperial/ metric and numerical skills. Good oral and written communication skills (American English).
