- Triage HPC help tickets and assign appropriately.
- Resolve user tickets on system access, accounts, and resource management.
- Contribute to enhancing HPC account management processes.
- Track, escalate, and report on HPC help tickets.
- Act as the point of contact for HPC user issues and assist in managing project accounts.
- Handle complex spreadsheets for data management.
- Implement accountability hierarchy for portfolios, projects, and user accounts.
- Handle resource change requests and provide progress updates.
- Inform users about system changes and issues.
- Create and update user documentation.
- Assist with generating and sharing HPC reports using various tools.
- Write and maintain procedures for all job responsibilities.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
- Business or IT Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Four years of highly technical IT customer support experience.
- Preference for experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
- Numerical analysis and large data set management skills.
- Experience with ticketing systems like OTRS.
- Proficiency in Excel and keen analytical skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and customer service focus.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate while being independent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and cloud-based tools.
- Understanding of Unix/Linux systems and utilities is a plus.
- Excellent English language skills and technical writing abilities.
- Encourages teamwork, pays attention to detail, and meets pre-employment qualifications.

Challenging Opportunity: System Admin III - HPC Support at Cherokee Services Group (CSG)
This System Administrator III - HPC Support role requires having or obtaining a Public Trust clearance for consideration. You'll be the main point of contact between users and HPC engineers, needing top customer service, organizational, and PC skills to handle help tickets efficiently, troubleshoot, analyze data, set priorities, and document procedures in a dynamic high-tech setting. Your tasks will involve implementing and managing HPC systems spread over a wide area, as well as stand-alone servers and virtual machines.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Salary Range: $96,000 to $106,000 for this role. Your pay will match your experience level. Full-time benefits cover Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other perks, subject to potential changes.
