    Job DescriptionFI Consulting is seeking a full-time Account Leader to lead key client accounts and consulting teams at our Arlington, VA Headquarters and throughout the Metro DC area on client projects

    FI has a strong established business serving the US Federal sector. Our clients include the US Department of Homeland Security, Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, and Treasury. Our work spans financial management, modeling and implementation, data analysis, independent validation, statistical analysis, risk management, program and portfolio management, and developing custom analytic and reporting tools.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Partnering with client staff of all levels to understand issues and needs, and working to solve them through the development of specific analytical tools
    • Managing and leading teams of 10 or less from concept to deliverable on client project initiatives
    • Defining functional requirements and designing testing strategies for analytical software applications
    • Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets in various software packages using statistical and econometric techniques
    • Clearly communicating complex, technical concepts to both technical and non-technical clients
    • Planning and overseeing the execution of project tasks
    • Actively seeking out opportunities for FI to expand the solutions we offer to our clients
    • Secure and protect company and client data and information and prevent its improper disclosure.
    • Understand and apply information security policies for projects or work under your management
    • Develop information management plans for your projects and communicate them to your team.
    • Ensure team members under your direction follow through and manage information in accordance with company policy.

    Domain Knowledge:
    • Deep knowledge of the Federal government marketplace, including how Federal agencies buy, how to sell to them, and competitive factors e.g., personnel, partners, past performance, pricing, etc.
    • Understanding of how data, modeling, analytics, and technology can drive solutions to business problems
    • Established relationships within government agencies and government contractor community
    • Experience and deep understanding of consulting delivery on Federal government contracts is a plus
    • Understanding of federal credit agencies, financial regulators, or banking or other private sector financial institutions is a plus
    Required Qualifications:
    • Direct experience selling management consulting services, custom technology solutions, or other complex offerings to Federal agencies
    • Has successfully developed and managed organizations responsible for sales and delivery
    • Experience designing and implementing business development initiatives
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L and drive business growth
    • Authorization for permanent employment in the U.S.
    Additional requirements:
    • Authorized to work in the United States as a permanent resident or US Citizen. We are not able to sponsor or accept any visa holders including H1B and OPT.
    • Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
    • Reside in the DC Metro area within 30 days of hire.
