Job Description:
Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Site Reliability Engineer.
Senior. Perform site reliability software engineering duties in furtherance of ensuring application and network performance, reliability and security for users of our platforms; deploy and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems; analyze and improve the security, stability, speed, and capacity of our network; automate new cloud service deployments; monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to ensure SLA is met and adequate capacity is available; analyze logs and events from the cloud service and providing recommendations to ensure smooth service operation; work within large-scale cloud-based infrastructure; quickly identify and resolve infrastructure issues.

Required Qualification:
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or Telecommunications Engineering, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
Must Have:
Two (2) years of experience in the following: Testing frameworks, object oriented programming, C or C++, UI development or maintenance, and software integration or automation.
Compensation:Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base salary for this position ranges from $ $170043/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
