    Job DescriptionThe Director of Quality Assurance will play an integral part in the continued development and improvement of our quality assurance program.

    This role will require a deep understanding of quality management systems, a strong sense of urgency, and a passion for delivering products that exceed customers' expectations.

    The role is responsible for real time QA communication for contract FoodBev production and leads continuous development of laboratory methods and procedures.

    Travel ability required.


    Responsibilities:


    Continue to develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) with existing team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

    Support the continuous improvement of QMS processes, including documentation, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.

    Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to establish and enforce product quality specifications, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand and company standards.

    Conduct regular product quality inspections and audits and lead investigations into any deviations from established standards.
    Train and provide ongoing guidance and Quality related directives to the company and Contract Manufactures.
    Assist with creating and implementing SOPs for all contract manufactures.
    Work closely with procurement team to establish and maintain a flow of high-quality raw materials and ingredients. Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor raw materials and ingredients.
    Gather, analyze data and prepare reports related to the various production processes of our complex portfolio.

    Be in the know of new and upcoming industry regulations and standards related to beverage manufacturing ensuring company compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

    Performs other related duties as assigned and/or required.


    Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, biology or a related field; master's a plus10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the FoodBev industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

    Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams to drive successful product development initiatives.

    Extensive professional post-college experience in Quality Assurance, including experience managing a Quality Assurance program.
    Experience with Food Safety Management System
