- Location: Lakeland, FL (with the ability to float to Tampa clinics including Brandon, Wesley Chapel, Carrollwood)
- Anticipated Schedule Availability: Tuesday to Saturday (Preferably 3 Saturdays a month, with weekday availability)
- Shift Hours: Variable start/end times averaging 6-8 hours a day; most shifts start around 8 am
- Perform ultrasound-guided IV placements with precision and proficiency
- Administer medications and treatments, with proficiency in dosage calculations (e.g., mg/kg)
- Assess and document the health status of the patient. Including SOAP note documentation
- Provide intake including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
- Prepare patients for infusion or injection
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
- Ensure patient care is documented in the Electronic Health Record
- Keep environment clean and disinfected after each patient use
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Reinforce patient and family education regarding disease processes and treatment side effects
- Work collaboratively with clinical and front desk staff to ensure highest level of patient care
- Assist with audits and regulatory functions, as needed
- Assist with annual staff review process including skill competency assessments
- Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Work at multiple centers / facilities within a market as needed

- Previous experience in an emergency room or paramedic setting is strongly preferred
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license for state where practicing and allowed to treat both children and adults
- Board certified by ANCC or AANP
- Completion of Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing program; Over 2 years, up to and including 4 years
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider strongly preferred
- Experience in an infusion setting preferred
