    POSITION: Plant Engineer

    REOPRTS TO: Director of Operations

    LOCATION: Columbus, OH

    SALARY: $150K - $200K - (Relocation assistance available)

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidate must have experience to develop, execute and manage activities aimed at maintaining/improving asset availability and reliability.
    • Restore equipment to base condition inherent levels of reliability and safetywhen deterioration occurs.
    • Assist in all phases of facility expansions and modifications.
    • Management of plant Mechanical and Electrical support systems-
    • Manage all assigned projects in a manner that will ensure completion within the approved project schedule and budget.
    • Manage capital equipment quoting, purchasing, installation and startup processes.
    • Direct and oversee assigned contractor personnel in activates relating to the implementation of assigned projects.
    • Supports and ensures compliance with quality, environmental, business policies and state standards associates with such management systems.
    • Develop standardized documentation including SOPs, training, and validation of equipment reliability.
    • Responsible for planning and monitoring capital investment expenditures.
    • Establishes key interfaces and builds relationships with internal customers and key team members in support of alignment of CAPEX project goals.
    • Identify and manage relationships with preferred equipment manufacturers, specialists, and technical support consultants.
    • Identify and correct chronic, repetitive, and costly electrical equipment and other systems problems.
    • Support turnarounds planned and unplanned outages, major electrical equipment overhauls, routine, and non-routine repairs.
    • Provide electrical engineering support to maintenance and operations teams. Obtain the information necessary for design improvement for equipment and systems where inherent reliability is inadequate.
    • Provide engineering support as needed and be on-call for critical plant/asset electrical or other systems failures.
    • Work closely with manufacturing teams at all levels to resolve technical issues, applying engineering and technical skills to design, optimize and troubleshoot electrical and other systems equipment.
    • Improve equipment and system reliability, safety, and sustainability at minimum total cost. Perform technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results to solve complex engineering and reliability problems.
    • Lead failure analysis of electrical and other systems/equipment and educate both maintenance and production technicians after failure analysis.
    • Maintain and update plant electrical drawings and files as needed.
    • Education5+ years technical experience in a production environment. Project management and environmental experience required.
    • Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred in Electrical Engineering,
    • Continuous Improvement experience using LEAN or Six Sigma concepts preferred.
    • SAP experience a must.
