    Duties

    As a Public Health Analyst (Policy and Issues Management) you will:
  • Responsible for external communications on matters related to program activities and program related public health and health policies to policy-oriented audiences as well as to members of the public.
  • Develop and maintain systems to analyze complex and highly visible actions such as legislation, executive directives, Departmental policy issuances, voluntary changes in practice by influential organizations or groups.
  • Prepare written analytic reports in support of major strategic planning and evaluation programs and initiatives for use of the organization's leadership including top management; as well as members of federal agencies; state and local public health and environmental protection agencies; and other key partners.
  • Supervise a small contingent of staff to facilitate partner briefings, site visits, and other operational priorities for the center.
