    Join Our Dynamic Team as a Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist in Dayton, OH


    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist to provide exceptional care at a reputable hospital-based setting in Dayton, Ohio.

    This pivotal role offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading pediatric facility, ensuring optimal anesthesia management for a diverse patient population from neonates to adults.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide anesthesiology services for pediatric patients, including neonates, in a busy hospital setting.
    Supervise CRNAs within a care team model, balancing solo practice with supervisory duties.
    Manage an average of 50-60 surgical cases daily across multiple operating rooms.
    Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
    Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and standards for patient safety and care quality.
    Maintain professional certifications and licenses required for anesthesia practice.


    Required Skills:
    Valid anesthesiology medical license for Ohio.
    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
    Proven experience in pediatric anesthesia, ideally within a hospital setting.
    Ability to supervise CRNAs effectively.
    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    Competency in managing diverse patient demographics, from neonatal to adult.


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Experience working in Level 1 Trauma Centers.
    Familiarity with pediatric pain management.
    Bilingual abilities or additional language skills.
    Prior experience with hospital credentialing processes.


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
    Minimum of 2 years of anesthesiology practice, with exposure to pediatric cases.
    Current ACLS and PALS certifications.


    Other Requirements:
    Immediate credentialing requirements including SSN, DEA, CSR, State Licensure, and CAQH login.
    Ability to start as early as February 2, 2026, with coverage through November 16, 2026.
    Willingness to complete fingerprinting and onboarding documentation promptly.
    Reimbursements available for travel, lodging, and transportation per facility policy.
