- Interpret/communicate & train safety policies/practices to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks.
- Inspect material for quality requirements.
- Stock and transfer material, tools, and equipment totheappropriate shelf, bin, rack, or pipe bundle by a predetermined sequence, including bind location, size, type, style, and length.
- Mark material with correct identifying information.
- Transfer material to and from stock package orders in boxed and pallets asrequired.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets asrequired.
- Pull orders for delivery and stock-to-stock transfer.
- Loadontothecorrect truck or transfer tothepackingarea using a forklift, overhead crane, and heavy equipment.
- Enterappropriate inventory(incoming and outgoing) information intoSIMSsystem, usinga handheldscanner asappropriate.
- Maintain site inventory byassistingin inventory audits.
- Reviewing various periodic reports for contact, such as traffic and mill test reports.
- Prepare documentation for UPS, LTL, SH, or Air shipments.
- AssistPipeyard/Warehouse Manager/Supervisor in delegating daily duties and assignments to warehouse personnel.
- Lead and directPipeyard/WarehouseAssociates in workduties when needed.
- Establish working rapport with local management, corporate employees, and other branch personnel using proper phone etiquette and other effective interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to MRC ethic policy and hold others accountable for behavior that is consistent with MRC ethicalstandards.
- Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others, and report workplace hazards, injuries, or illnessesimmediately.
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).
- Must have a current, valid driver's license and an acceptable record at all times.
- One (1) year of experience in a pipeyardand/or warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with leadership qualities.
- Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently to communicate with others; to understand and interpret safety instructions,and to respond inquiries.
- Ability to understand andcomply withMRC guidelines & expectations,to includeCode of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.

Regularly performs Warehouse & Pipeyard associate duties, may specialize in designated areas or functions, and provide support and direction to regular and temporary warehouse associates. Works closely with branch leadership to ensure productivity and safety expectations are met.
