    Job Description:
    The Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Development.

    This position provides membership and corporate growth support as well as accounting & financial systems assistance to the Development Department of WKU Public Media.

    Part of a team driving growth, impact, and revenue for all WKU PBS and WKU NPR brands.

    As a member of the development team, the position performs essential administrative functions to properly document, process, track, and report revenue.

    This position is instrumental in building and maintaining positive relationships with WKU Public Broadcasting's donors by providing quality member services, crafting reports and materials to showcase work being done by WKU Public Broadcasting.

    This position will work with Director of Finance to maintain correct policies and procedures for financial reporting.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
    The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs. Flex-time and flexible scheduling will be offered as appropriate. This position is 37.5 hours/week.
    **It is an expectation of the job to listen to our station and watch our station, at least periodically, to stay informed with our underwriters and customers and to better communicate with our audience.
    Processes donor gifts and manages fundraising software database.
    Processes all gifts through multiple databases
    Work with the College Heights Foundation to provide accurate recording of data
    Daily, bimonthly and monthly donor updates and reconciliations
    Software data updates
    Assist with pledge drives and mailings
    Help coordinate volunteers
    Coordinate extras during pledge weeks
    Daily donor letters
    Corporate Support/Underwriting data billing accounting and data analysis.
    Coordinate voiceovers
    Manage underwriting scripts
    All accounting for underwriters through Quickbooks/ProTrack system
    Sending affidavits and invoicing
    Maintaining the accounting relationship with our donors/partners
    Internal and external verification of accuracy
    Running Regular Reports
    Yearly grant reporting
    Monthly membership reports
    Create a tracking/reporting structure for all initiatives
    Marketing and specific initiative work. This includes additional event support.

    (in conjunction with student workers)
    Coordinate all promotion around events
    Attend as needed
    Collect/reconcile funds after each event
    Maintain content calendar
    Oversee all social media within the development area
    Coordinate all community promotion materials
    New initiatives
    Support new initiatives
    Explore grant opportunities


    Job Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis)


    Additional Information:

    Hourly Rate:
    $18.00 -$21.96
