    Description

    One of our downstream clients located in the Corpus Christi area is currently looking for multiple field operators on a 1 year contract. This role will be working a shift schedule, working 7 days on 7 days off. The working schedule will consist of 12 hour shifts.

    Performs duties of a facility operator for area assigned in a 12-hour daily rotational shift environment, including holiday, weekends, and nights.

    Operates plant utilities including electrical power systems, air, water, sanitation, nitrogen, fire water system.

    Operates plant process areas including inlet gas, amine, dehydration and cryogenic/liquefaction systems, refrigerant compressors and turbines, storage and loading systems including storage tanks, jetty operations and ship loading.

    Provides routine maintenance and security tasks when operations schedules permit.

    Monitors and records instrument readings of gas volumes, temperatures, flows and pressures to ensure safe operation and quality product, and reports deviations from standard so that corrective action can be taken.

    Trains on environmental safety, operations and security procedures

    Operates the facility recognizing the safety and environmental consequences of actions taken.

    Achieves the highest levels of environmental and safety compliance.

    Carries out other duties as assigned.

    Records and evaluates operating performance data and informs Shift Supervisor and/or Senior Operator of potential problems and failures in a timely manner; works with Shift Supervisor and/or Senior Operator to expeditiously resolve plant problems and improve plant reliability and safety. Performs all duties applying safety protocols and adhering to regulatory mandates.

    Coordinate housekeeping activities in areas of responsibility to eliminate safety hazards and maintain a clean working environment.
