Job summary:
The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I to perform general diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures for outpatient patients in Martinez CA. The ideal candidate has a proven track record demonstrating familiarity of diagnostic imaging procedures using fixed or portable equipment knowledge of appropriate filters protective clothing devices ability to identify patients with two identifiers critical thinking skills excellent interpersonal skills patient care skills active listening skills acceptance of constructive criticism responsibility for delivering quality patient care while minimizing exposure radiation following established safety protocols maintaining accurate records performing first aid as necessary adhering to all applicable Federal State local regulations including Joint Commission TJC Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act HIPAA contacting service providers as necessary other work related duties assigned.
