    Description


    The Senior Preconstruction Manager assumes the lead role in directing activities necessary to prepare best in class budget proposals and/or bids.

    Requirements
    B.S. in Construction Management or related engineering discipline
    Eight to ten years minimum in commercial construction industry
    Minimum of five years of experience working as a Senior Estimator on large commercial construction projects ($50M+)
    Summary

    Coordinates with a team and senior management to grow the business in line with the strategic direction of the company
    Preparation of bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates
    Lead role managing $50 million+ budget proposals (typically 3 person teams)
    Mastery level of understanding and implementation of preconstruction standards and procedures
    Collaborate with Operations team members
    Lead design assist/constructability reviews
    Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of submissions.
    Purchasing/preliminary subcontract language (scopes of work)
    Advise operations on preliminary project scheduling
    Primary A/E point of contact during preconstruction
    Marketing

    managing sub/vendor database (global and individual pursuits)
