    Job Summary:
    Under the supervision of a senior Human Resources member, our

    Human Resources Specialist


    thrives off of taking initiative, with increasing responsibilities, and exhibits fantastic communication skills and professionalism in order to support our staff in providing patient care second to none This professional will perform transactions throughout numerous Human Resources segments, with exposure to different business units and specialties, therefore a candidate who is eager to learn is desired We are growing our Human Resources team, as our organization is expanding, therefore candidates who are able to work in an autonomous, proactive and flexible manner are preferred.

    This position will sit in one of our two Headquarters for Michigan, with the ability to (virtually, and seldom physically) support both our Flint and Metro Detroit locations as we are a team oriented department.

    While candidates with professional experience are preferred, ambitious candidates without experience are encouraged to apply - include a letter of interest


    Duties:
    Troubleshoots and handles first level HR issues, such as
    Answering benefits questions and supporting enrollment activities;
    Performing HRIS & Payroll transactions and troubleshooting;
    Digitizing and organization employee records;
    Ensuring organized and accurate compliance activities;
    Providing recruitment support activities such as posting, pre-screen interviews and coordination;
    Onboarding and orienting new employees;
    Creating employee engagement activities including but limited to recognition.

    Qualifications:
    Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S.
    Degree required (HR, Healthcare Administration, business)
    Experience within a Hospital and/or Healthcare environment preferred, not required.

    Proficiency with Google Suite of tools, such as google sheets, forms, present, docs, email, etc.

    This position reports to a director with responsibility for multiple facilities, so the ability to be productive in an autonomous manner is imperative.
