    Be part of the Saint Therese difference We are seeking Home Health Aides to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

    Schedules currently available include every other weekend and every other holiday:

    • 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Part-time (16 hours per 2 week pay period)
    • 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Part-time hours per 2 week pay period)
    • 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Part-time (24 hours per 2 week pay period)
    • 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Part-time (72 hours per 2 week pay period)

    Location Information

    Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview and Woodbury.

    Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

    Responsibilities

    The Home Health Aide performs services for clients as directed to maintain the personal comfort and safety of the client. Additionally, this role will attend a minimum of four staff meetings annually and will maintain current CPR and First Aide Certification.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified as a Nursing Assistant in Minnesota (preferred)
    • Completion of a Home Health Aide certification course, if not a certified nursing assistant (preferred)
    • Previous one year experience working as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant (if no certification, previous experience is required)

    Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and make appropriate judgments.
    • Dependability.
    • Ability to follow orders.
    • Documentation skills; excellent verbal and written skills.
