    Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

    Overview: As a vital member of our hospitality team, the Hotel Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing surfaces.
    2. Replace linens, towels, and amenities in guest rooms as needed.
    3. Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished in guest rooms.
    4. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
    5. Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a hygienic manner.
    6. Clean and maintain public areas, including corridors, lobbies, elevators, and stairways.
    7. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures in public areas.
    8. Maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas, including employee break rooms, storage areas, and laundry rooms.
    9. Collaborate with maintenance and front desk staff to address any maintenance or guest service issues.
    10. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    11. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
    12. Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
    13. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    2. Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is advantageous.
    3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
    4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
    6. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
    7. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable.
    8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    9. Positive attitude and a willingness to provide exceptional service to guests.
    10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
