    As a Content Strategist with expertise in writing website content, SEO optimization, and social media advertising, you will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling content across various platforms, optimizing our online presence for search engines, and developing and analyzing effective social media ad campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and analytics, to deliver strategic content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Content Creation:

  • Craft high-quality, creative, and persuasive written content for print, websites, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop engaging copy for various marketing collaterals, including landing pages and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and implement content requirements and maintain consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant topics and optimize content for search engines.
  • Research topics to produce engaging, easy-to-understand content on the University's website and social media platforms, considering relevant audiences.
  • Monitor the industry for trending topics and make recommendations for new content development.
  • Optimize existing content to be consistent with University branding standards as well as SEO trends and algorithm changes to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
  • Google Ads & Social Media Advertising:

  • Create and manage social media ad campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop captivating ad copy, compelling visuals, and effective targeting strategies to reach target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze ad performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Analytics Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content engagement, SEO rankings, and social media ad performance.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate results and propose actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, etc.) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

    Experience 1-3 years of related experience

    Preferred experience in communication, social media management, and with web platforms.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Content Strategist, Writer, SEO Specialist, or similar role.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of diverse content.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization.
  • Experience developing and managing successful social media ad campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools, content management systems (CMS), and social media advertising platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand different audiences and adapt writing style accordingly.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
