    ASRC Federal System Solutions supports the FAA NAS ESS (Federal Aviation Administration National Airspace System Engineering Support Services) contract. Join our growing team as an Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineer in support of the FAA's Voice Switch Engineering Team. The Voice Switch Engineering Team provides 2nd level engineering support for the FAA's Voice Switching communications systems.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in providingtechnical guidance in the procurement of new equipment and services
    • Assist in providing technical assistance in the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and services
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct testing of equipment and services
    • Generate documentation for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment and services
    • Test and deploy network configurations including routing and switching
    • Assist in establishing and maintaining equipment support facilities
    • Assess the security status of equipment
    • Provide on-site restoration; develop purchase descriptions for modification kits
    • Review and provide feedback on program-related documents
    • Provide engineering consultations, investigations and documentation of findings (i.e.-white papers, engineering study reports)
    • Develop briefings and presentations
    • Create HDR/PTR/DOC data (Hardware Discrepancy Report/Program Trouble Report/Documentation update)
    • Participate in and contribute to the existing mentoring program
    Requirements
    • Proficientin industry standard Electrical Engineering software
    • Solid background knowledge and skills in Electrical/Electronics Engineering discipline
    • Experience working in a team environment
    • Good written and spoken communication skills including developing technical documentation
    • Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required)
    Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor of Science from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering preferred)
    • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
