    Description


    Our client is a leading provider of automation solutions for clients in the food/bev, chemical, pharma, water/wastewater, printing, packaging, and CNC machining industries.

    They specialize in designing and implementing custom control systems tailored to meet their clients' specific needs.

    As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

    Day to Day
    Specify automation and electrical components and software to meet customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards.
    Design and configure PLC programs to optimize performance or resolve complex controls issues.
    Support commissioning and startup of control systems, demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues.

    Provide on-site and support from the home office for installed systems, offering technical service assistance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.

    Determine the root cause of electrical, mechanical, and software failures and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
    Organize and maintain project files to ensure accurate documentation and efficient project management.
    Collaborate with project managers and engineering managers to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
    Qualifications to be Successful
    Experience in the design and implementation of industrial control systems or control panels.
    AS/BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or demonstrated experience in the industry.

    Preferred experience with one or more of the following automation platforms: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, GE, Omron, Automation Direct, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, ABB 800xA, FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Tatsoft, Ignition, iFix, Wonderware, as well as AC drives, DC drives, motion control, robotics, machine vision, and functional safety.

    Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

    Note:

    To comply with state laws, the annual base salary range for this position has been provided as a guideline.

    The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as work experience, education/training, key skills, and other considerations.
