    Position Summary

    The Operating Room Technician supports surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting the surgical team. This role requires experience with orthopedic and obstetric procedures and familiarity with advanced surgical equipment. No direct clinical involvement beyond the OR Tech scope is required.

    Case Types & Equipment

    Patient Population: Adult, Pediatric, Geriatric, Obstetric

    Common Procedures:

    • Orthopedic: Total joints, ORIF, arthroscopy
    • OB/GYN: Cesarean sections, LAVH, D&C
    • General Surgery: Laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, exploratory laparotomy

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience: Minimum 1 year OR Tech experience
    • Certifications:
      • BLS (required)
      • ND UAP (required)
      • CST or NCCT (preferred)
    • License to Submit: Yes
