Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in all aspects of the commercial construction loan disbursement administration for the Unit. Independently engage construction inspectors and title companies, for follow up, of items necessary to facilitate submitted draw requests, including the ability to requests inspections, title date downs and endorsements, review and escalate noted/significant issues.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $42,000 and $70,000. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Some roles will also qualify for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, Manufacturers Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure construction loans are in balance, obtaining necessary /required conditional releases for current submitted draws and unconditional releases for past draws.
• Able to understand change orders, package or bundle request for submission and the required approvals necessary to disburse.
• Maintain good working relationships with third party resources, including contracted inspectors, title companies, borrower's representatives, and internal managers.
• Ability to work with key personnel and staff, and think on their "feet" and determine what is required to avoid delays in processes.
• Oversight /review of commercial loan tracking and reporting.
• Assists in maintaining/updating the unit disbursement log.
• Help Identify and address key due diligence issues.
• Will eventually need to be very familiar and compliant with the unit's processes and guidelines.
• Willingness to cross train functions and responsibilities.
• Willing to accept and work on special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate degree in business or work equivalent in a related field.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in commercial real estate servicing with a strong understanding of commercial loan disbursements and monitoring.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction disbursement servicing systems a plus, specially ACBS and Horizon.
• Excellent organization and prioritizing skills.
• Detail Oriented.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strongly familiar with Microsoft word and excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong team player.
