    Incident Manager Assistant Vice PresidentWhippany, NJAs a Barclays Incident Manager Assistant Vice President (AVP), you will provide command control and coordination services to the greater Chief Security Office, wider bank business units and our customers.

    What will you be doing?Planning and coordinating of large-scale security incident response efforts involving multiple business functions, operational teams and front-line customer-facing businessesAligning to an industry leading framework for the identification, management and communication of any type of security incident that could impact the bank globallyIdentifying and implementing necessary tasks within your area of responsibility, while working within a global multi-functional department made up of a multitude of CSO specialist teamsCoordinating and disseminating formal written business communications related to incidents managed by the teamSupporting and leading reviews of security incident processes and standard operating procedures to continuously improve incident responsivenessDeveloping and nurturing effective business relationships, bank-wideWhat we're looking for:Confident, reliable and accountable - possessing the ability to remain calm, controlled and focused during uncertain and potentially stressful scenariosKnowledge of incident management tooling such as ServiceNow, X-Matters, Everbridge and other security solutions recognized across the industryA solid grasp of how a layered defence and intelligence driven defence worksA working knowledge of Risk Management and the crucial part that controls play in the security posture of an organisationSkills that will help you in the role:Ability to identify operational risks, both internally and externally, assess those risks and then coordinate in line with standardized policies and proceduresCritical thinker that can formulate formal business summaries which business stakeholders and external parties may reviewPrevious experience in a command centre environmentAbility to multi-task daily activities and prioritize based on criticality and timeliness of open tasksWhere will you be working?Our next-generation workplace in Whippany allows talented, passionate, down-to-earth colleagues to connect daily.
