- Direct and evaluate the learning experiences of students in both curricular and extracurricular activities;

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:Fire Fighting Instructor
Enoree Career Center is seeking a Firefighting Instructor. This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of high-quality industry experience and a strong aptitude for working with high school students. The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma/GED. Candidates must have experience as a county or municipal firefighter.
A background as an EMT and/or paramedic is preferred. Candidates who do not currently have an EMT background should demonstrate a willingness to obtain EMT instructor status.
Other preferred qualifications include strong communication skills, computer proficiency, a student-centered philosophy, familiarity with project-based instruction, and a commitment to helping our students—and our career center—grow and succeed. Candidates should demonstrate a growth mindset and a desire to continue developing professionally and learning new skills in the field.

Terms of Employment:Nine and one-half months with salary determined by current South Carolina teaching certificate as it relates to the Teachers' Salary Schedule as approved by the Board of Trustees of Greenville County Schools.
Evaluation:Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy.
