    Description

    Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN - Nights

    Summary:

    This is a dynamic position for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide and oversee medical services in our treatment facility. As a key member of the Northpoint team, this licensed professional will act as the medical treatment plan coordinator, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide routine patient interaction, observing behaviors and communicating significant observations to the team as needed.
    • Administer medications and engage patients in education process.
    • Utilize de-escalation skills to maintain personal safety and others' safety in care.
    • Develop admission, orientation, education, and discharge plans for patients and families to aid in treatment.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans and discharge planning.

    Requirements:

    • Current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where services are rendered.
    • Nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
    • Knowledge of computer and electronic medical records systems (KIPU).
    • Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year inpatient/residential experience preferred.
    • Ability to work with diverse populations, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport with patients.
    • Understanding and adherence to ethical standards of licensure governing board.
