    The Impact You'll Make in this Role

    As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Commissioning and qualifying automated assembly and injection molding for respiratory and hearing protection products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new equipment using latest technologies
  • Implementing capital improvement projects for growing portfolios with emphasis on vision & robotic technologies which provide high quality products every time
  • Leading Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects and driving continuous improvement in a Lean Manufacturing environment
  • Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques which includes new product launches

    To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Currently possess or in last year of obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited Institution
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Injection Molding Engineering from an accredited Institution
  • Experience in Injection Molding or Automated Assembly
  • Demonstrated experience participating on cross functional teams
  • Flexible to provide support for round-the-clock manufacturing operations as needed
  • Engineering co-op or intern experience
  • Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion
  • Work location: 3M Valley Plant

    Travel: May include up to 15% domestic
