    Job Description

    At Light of Life Rescue Mission, we have been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area since 1952.

    We are seeking a full-time Case Manager for our Women & Children's Longterm Program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide case management and advocacy for clients, serving as a liaison between the client and other organizations involved in their care.
    • Monitor clients' care plan progress through one-on-one discussions and utilize our online client management system, MissionTracker.
    • Facilitate groups and/or classes to support client recovery.
    • Network with related service providers to access necessary services for clients and ensure timely delivery.
    • Contribute input and support into Care Team decisions.
    • Make informed decisions about proposed activities aligned with Light of Life principles and best practices for recovery.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Knowledge from formal and experiential training in drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness.
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience with HMIS and proficiency in Microsoft Office desired.
